Founder & Managing Director
Richard founded Delta Energy Capital after three decades in global energy markets. His experience spans investment, trading, origination, infrastructure, biomass, renewable gas, biocarbon and carbon markets.
Previously, he held senior trading, origination and investment roles at RWE, Barclays and before that Enron Europe. In his career, he has developed, operated, bought and sold power stations of most fuel types, notably the Lynemouth power station in the UK, which converted from coal to be fuelled 100% by wood pellets.
In overseeing RWE's global biomass business, he gained important experience in woody biomass supply chains, especially in the US. At Barclays, he started and grew one of the largest carbon credit trading businesses in the world.
Richard is a qualified accountant with a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Bristol.

Chief Sustainability Officer
Scott has worked on the frontline of sustainability for 30 years. With The Forest Trust, he pioneered responsible sourcing, sustainability certification in tropical forests, No Deforestation, No Exploitation and No Peatland Clearance policies, and regenerative supply chains.
He led the palm oil sector's shift away from destructive environmental practices and human rights abuses, oversaw the first FSC certification in the Congo Basin, and directed a project that removed 4,000 semi-automatic weapons from forest guards in Indonesia.
Scott also brought Drax and Enviva into The Forest Trust and helped both adopt stronger environmental practices.
Today, he continues to lead innovative biocarbon and verification projects while advising leaders on sustainability strategies.
